TOYOSEIKI has been working on fully automated material testing equipment since the 1970s*.
Today, we offer a wide range of fully-automated measurement models for tensile testing of plastic and rubber materials, melt flow rate (MFR/MVR) measurement, deflection temperature under load (HDT/DTUL) measurement, rubber vulcanization testing, density specific gravity measurement, etc., which are used for quality control by customers in the materials, automotive, and other industries.

● Automated tensile testing of rubber under temperatures ranging from room temperature (+20°C) to 100°C.
● Capable of continuously testing up to 300 test specimens (JIS K 6251).
● Effective stroke of approx. 700mm – safe even for elongated samples.
● Adopts a non-contact type (CCD) line-to-line extensometer.

■Notching process for impact specimens

● This automatic machine performs notch cutting on Charpy Izod impact test specimens in accordance with JIS K 7144 and ISO 2819, which specify the notch cutting conditions.
● A maximum of 25 specimens (4 mm) can be set in the specimen clamp.
● Processing conditions (depth of cut per cut, feed rate, etc.) can be set and registered according to the specimen material.
● Pulse motor enables high-precision notch cutting in 0.01mm increments.
● In addition to notch cutting of impact test specimens, Model A-4 can also cut (both end slicing and side cutting) impact, bending, creep, and other test specimens from JIS K 7139 and ISO 3167 multipurpose test specimens (A-type dumbbell).
■Dimensional measurement of impact specimen

● This device automatically measures the thickness and remaining width of Charpy Izod impact test specimens.
● The thickness and remaining width measured by this device are automatically transferred to and input into the impact tester and data processing software*. (*Option)
● This eliminates the need for dimensional measurement of test specimens and input of numerical values, contributing to more efficient measurement work.
■HDT / Vicat testing

● This tester (heat distortion tester) evaluates the heat resistance of plastic materials.
● This model incorporates an automatic specimen supply/removal device, enabling completely unmanned operation.
● The tester is selectable between 3- and 6-unit models, with the 3-unit model capable of testing up to 120 specimens and the 6-unit model capable of testing up to 240 specimens continuously (for a thickness of 4 mm). (For a thickness of 4 mm)
■Moving Die Rheometer (MDR)

● This is a vulcanization tester (Rotorless Rheometer/MDR) for evaluating vulcanization characteristics of rubber.
● Full automation (continuous testing of 84 specimens) is possible by attaching an optional automatic specimen loading/unloading device and data processing device.
● Automatic specimen loading/unloading device can be selected between film type and pin type, which is advantageous in terms of running cost.
● The specimen chamber die can be selected from flat die and tapered die specifications.
■Rubber resilience

● This tester measures the rebound angle of rubber test pieces and calculates the rebound modulus.
● Capable of continuously testing up to 20 test pieces (ISO 4662).
■Density

● This tester is used to measure the density (specific gravity) of rubber and plastic specimens by the underwater displacement method (weighing method in liquid).
● Capable of continuously testing up to 64 plastic and rubber test pieces.
